Breathing

Breathing is a powerful tool of transformation

Breathing is one of the most essential functions of the body, as water and food. Most time we don’t have to think about breathing or make an active choice to breathe. However, without food people could live for up to about 40 days, just having enough of water; without water, people could survive 3-4 days; but without a breath people could go within only 3-5 minutes. Breathing is the most important function of our lives. Our lives start and end with breathing.

In reality most of us don’t know how to breathe properly or breathe deeply. If we become aware of our breathing and learn to control our breathing consciously, we can significantly improve our health and many other aspects of our lives.

There are many types of conscious breathing:

  • Deep breathing
  • Counting breathing
  • Qi-gong
  • Full yoga breathing
  • Infinity breathing

Breathing exercises are powerful tools of transformation. It helps to burn up toxins, release stress, calm emotions, relax and balance a body, increase the life force energy, charge consciousness.

In our modern society where so much stress and fears, it is very important to stay calm and be able to see a bigger picture. Breathing as well as meditation could be very helpful there. The simple way to calm down is to do a counting breathing. My favorite is 4 count breathing technique: breath in through the nose on 4 counts, hold for 4 counts, breath out through the nose for 4 counts, hold for 4 counts, and repeat. It is simple but very effective way to release stress and could be used anywhere: sitting in a car in a traffic jam; in a meeting before presentation or when you need concentration; at home especially when thigs are not going the way you planned.

For increasing life force energy (qi, chi or prana energy) use full yoga breathing techniques or Qi-gong breathing, which could be practiced in meditation studios or just find tutorials on Internet.

Another technique to increase the energy and balance a body and mind, as well as  activate chakras, is an Infinity Still Point Breathing, which was taught by Archangel Michael and transmitted by Ronna Herman-Vezane. You can learn it online:
